Nelson Mandela Goes to 11

I was fortunate that my Oxford classmates and the school let me and some buds play a spontaneous set at the end-of-the-year black-tie awards ceremony last week. Former pros Ean and Reba let me and Gabe be honorary members of their band Tales from the Birdbath for a night. If it’s not the first time Spinal Tap has been played in tuxedos, it certainly was the first time it was played in tuxedos in a venue named after Nelson Mandela.
